I am considering closing down my gamedev and art accounts, leaving only the main one on twitter. This platform is hostile to me and my people, the owner openly discriminates against us and suppresses our voices. I will leave the main account to keep fighting for being visible.
You can find this project page on Mstdn and Blsk under the same name, if you want to follow the progress (when I am physically able to resume working on it).

I hate twitter. I'd gladly leave it once and for all and never come back.
But how else will you hear our voices and see how discrimination, hate and benefitting from genocide happens in real time? Untill we are all fully suppressed we'll be here. Hate us or not.
In space games where you can customize (or generate) a spaceship of your own, what do you like the most about said ship-making features? How do you see a perfect procedural spaceship generator?

@xafier In any case, I have gotten a tablet and even tweaked my keyboard to be drawn above the other windows (although I have BT mmouse and keyboard too). So far I am satisfied.
Getting ready for winter blackouts. Checking to make sure Blender works on phone (although I want to get a tablet). I have powerbanks, so it is more suitable than laptops.
Pondering an algorithm that can be followed when designing spaceships for the game, that would have some engineering sense in their designs. If I figure out how to automate this process or implement it in Godot, then it would enable in-game ship building.

I am taking a break, for a few reasons:
1. I have burnt out.
2. University work has begun.
3. I need to change to another game, for variety (see @pglowrpg).
4. I am very tired of making assets. This was my main reason to start making a text-based game in the first place.
After being overly obsessed with Blender's viewport FPS in VNC I suddenly remembered that other 3D modelling software solutions exist. And just look at how decentky does the Wings3D run in 1200x1200 VNC display! Will use it in place of Blender's editor.

An update - I've purchased the tabled after taking a loan, so wishlist is still relevant. I've installed and tested different proot linux distros and figured out a less or more working approach: https://t.co/02BBErRhfn
Also I figured out I need to improve my Android custom on-screen keyboard to suit tablet screen more, as well as to add some functional keys, and, maybe, make it floating and be drawn above other apps (it is this thing: https://t.co/BQaNLFoUJN)
I have published a wishlist item. I am gathering ~250$ for an Android tablet, so as to be less dependent on power supply this autumn / winter. Everything was tested on my phone, and gamedev like that is viable, but the screen size is what actually matter.

For everything else that doesn't require 3D - any resolution works as intended, so when I don't use a physical keyboard 1200x1200 is a way to do.
Naturally, I have a BT keyboard and mouse, but one reason to not to use them is working in bed (guilty pleasure).
So I am testing fake specular maps on my vertex-lighting shader again. So far it looks okay (don't mind the poor UV mapping, it is just a test), but the thing really lacks indirect reflections when light is ahead of camera. Especially near stars
