We realized that the brain metabolome and Peking Opera had a lot in common.

We are so pleased to share our latest work "Precision mapping of the mouse brain metabolome" in BioRxiv.
First Brain Metabolomics Atlas in our lab. Thanks for all brilliant collaborators from three labs.@ge5599(Wooping Ge and Wenzhi Sun lab) @ZepingHuLab https://t.co/FWgxoZQE2T
@LuisAlarconMar1 Thank you! We'd better have a mouse for labeling EC/PC/Blood (3 colors) simultaneously and image, Extremely challenging exp. Some pericytes remain at retention stage for very long(shown in 3G. So wierd for us). Your recent work gave us a good answer. Congrats!
We are so pleased to share our latest work "Reduction of neuronal activity mediated by blood-vessel regression in the brain (i.e., blood vessel regression in adult mammalian brains)” in BioRxiv. https://t.co/jSky2IqpBM
@SorenGrubb We observed the string structures in our work were possibly from individual pericyte in some cases (although this is not our major focus in this work. You could see it in Supplementary figure 6). But more evidence is required.
@BaptisteLacost3 @NeuroCellPress@AyalBen It is difficult to study vessel regression. Hope more people will join or pay attention to this field. The 2014 Neuron work done by you and your colleagues is fantastic.
News report on our NMO work in Discovery Edge. Appreciate strong support from Dr. Vanda Lennon and Mayo Center for Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology.

Together with Dr. Nanxiang Xiong's team and other collaborators, we developed a method, called CARVE, to characterize the metabolites consumed and produced by gliomas in vivo by comparing the arterial supply and venous drainage. https://t.co/ARUFvpZNJw
Do individual cancer cells exhibit selective crosstalk with specific sets of non-cancer cells in tumor microenvironment? Dr. Xiaofei Gao et al. gave an answer for this interesting question in their work published on Cell Reports today. Congratulations! https://t.co/4lNpZWKD2j
The first publication from Zhao's lab was just online. We developed the PEGASOS tissue clearing method which is able to render nearly all types of tissue transparent.
