He's blossoming in a zone-heavy defense and Miami didn't have to waste a roster spot on a local guy they know doesn't fit their (primarily man) system that needs bigger CBs. OU, Bama, Miami, ND, and BYU are teams ranked higher that have at least one of those quality wins

But the counter to that is those same 3 teams combined to beat 1 P4 team that finished with a winning record. So it's just accolades for playing tough games but not winning any

@DanWolken How does Vandy's resume "smoke" anybody's? Tenn shouldn't have been ranked because they only beat 1 P4 team w/ at least 5 wins. Vandy's other "quality" wins are against 1) Miz, who beat zero .500 or better teams and 2) LSU, who beat 1 P4 team above .500 #GoCanes
