Because it misaligns with Christ, and the Christian body will not approve. Richardson doesn't have the awareness to even feel shame about misrepresenting Christ.

@billswerski1985 The Jewish derived term "Shaliach", stemming from "Shalach" is always referring to an agent sent on behalf of God but distinct from God - not sharing His essence. There is no concept of worshiping a 'shalach' as God. To do such is a violation. Worship to Jesus is no violation.

@MysterMainiac @AbolitionistFAA Abortion doesn't unrape the woman. It compounds trauma. Many women have found the delivery of their child a redemptive action amid rape trauma. It is uncommon for victims who keep the child to view that child as a regret. And life being hard is not justification for abortion.

@billswerski1985 I don't see how John 20:17 challenges anything I stated. And the the Bible is full to the brim telling us not to worship anything created - that God alone receives worship. You've invented a caveat that amounts to God changing His mind...where suddenly, we worship a man.

Do the disciples get to uphold the universe in their power? No.

Jesus receives a different level of glory befitting God, above and beyond the disciples.

@billswerski1985 I'm not bothered by the insuation. Jesus is God. When His followers worship him in eternity, they will not be worshipping a created being as (God has commanded us not to do). We will be worshiping the God that always existed.

And what does in mean in Isaiah 9:6 when it prophecies of Jesus that he shall be called Mighty God and Everlasting Father?

@billswerski1985 God became flesh.....meaning God became Jesus. And John 1 is consistent with the multitude of scriptures plainly stating that all things were made through Jesus. Jesus himself speaks of the glory he had with God before the world began, asking to have that glory AGAIN.

@billswerski1985 Jesus' followers don't get the same glory he had with the Father before the world began, which is a special glory only due Jesus who existed before the world began (John 17:5). The preexisting God who became flesh (John 1:14).

God's Triune nature is unlike anything in existence. We can never perfectly describe it.
