Chris Hipkins has no problem funnelling his superannuation — plus generous taxpayer funded contributions, straight into his own beach house, while lecturing hard working Kiwis that savings must be redirected into “productive investment.”

In his State of the Nation speech he declared:
“For too long, too much capital has been locked up in housing speculation – driving up prices, while businesses struggle to find the investment they need to grow.”

Pure hypocrisy. Do as I say, not as I do. Labour’s elite always exempt themselves.

@SeanPlunket The te reo version used kawanatanga which translates as government or governorship. I would think that means they were allowing the British to govern, but that doesn't mean sovereignty. Maori signed the te reo version not the English version.

@FrancesCook It can't hurt to regulate. We are property managers, and it has been coming for some time. In our experience, it is mostly the diy managers who don't follow the rules. This will do nothing to address the 60% of managers who will be unlicensed and untrained.
