A year ago I opened a FB message from a guy named @shawn_p_mendes.
"Based on what my cousin told me, I think we may be related," he wrote.
14 mins later we'd uncovered a truth that had been hidden for 36 years.
This is our story.

Politico types tell me that MLAs really do get rattled if they get enough phone calls about particular issues, and they send that message up the chain to the Ministers and the Premier. Don't just email, call and try to book an appointment and make them listen to you.
If these MLAs are truly concerned about impacts on individuals & businesses, they can advocate for their gov't to offer real supports to help them get through the pandemic.
So far, I haven't heard any of them do so. Their lack of leadership echoes that of their leader. #ableg

“This unnecessary delay is a complete failure by Jason Kenney and the UCP that puts 20,000 jobs at risk at a time when Calgarians need them the most,” @joececiyyc said. #ableg https://t.co/OBn1KuKmr1
1/Question: When is a deal not a deal? Answer: When we’re talking Green Line.
There is an agreement in place between three orders of government. The money has been allocated. The plan has been approved. But that’s not enough for the province.
