Last year, we showed the world an AI bookmark. 10 million of you saw it. We've since gone to the drawing board to make something even better. Today, we're introducing Mark II. Pre-order now👇
we’re at the stage of platform shift where impact is a far better signal than growth. lots of “growth milestone” posts these days (rampant adoption now, everyone wants to try everything), but sustained use and retention is the new game
i’m getting a little sick of seeing startup and tech-adjacent UGC.
the rise and repeat cookie-cutter recipes used on launch videos, day-in-a-life’s and just short-form content in general.
it tries too hard to imitate humanity. through all the serif fonts, warm colors, and clip-on mics, it still feels soulless.
last month, i decided to move to sf on finals week with just a backpack. i don’t think i’ve never felt most at home, being surrounded by humans with such strong agency that inspires me everyday. if we interacted, grateful for all of u <3 @theresidency@fdotinc ❤️ be back soon x
2/ hopefully future ai interfaces will include some sort of dynamic data visualizations to show how models process, rank, and retrieve information, ultimately demystifying ai decision-making for users w/o any technical knowledge of ai.
went to a deep dive event on llms hosted by @michael_chomsky as a ‘non-technical’ designer person & realised how important it is for designers to understand the trajectories of how these models fundamentally work. interesting to reimagine how we should present a model’s output
this is what last night looked like:
> 60 demos pitched in 60min
every floor was packed, lol we had to use TVs downstairs so ppl could see
not gonna talk ab the stats
just want to say how proud we are of the crazy mfs who proved just how much they can build in 30 days.
thnx for building w/ us :)
