सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से अजयवीर सिंह उर्फ जय सिंह राठौड़ नामक व्यक्ति द्वारा अपनी 12 वर्षीय बहन को ‘ग्लूकोमा’/‘विट्रियस हेमरेज’ जैसी बीमारी से पीड़ित बताकर, उसके आंखों के उपचार के नाम पर फर्जी दस्तावेज तैयार कर, आमजन की भावनाओं से खिलवाड़ करते हुए लोगों से गलत तरीके से धनराशि (Crowd Funding) प्राप्त किए जाने संबंधी शिकायत प्राप्त हुई थी।

उक्त शिकायत का थाना बाह पुलिस द्वारा तत्काल संज्ञान लेते हुए प्राप्त तहरीर के आधार पर संबंधित व्यक्ति के विरुद्ध सुसंगत धाराओं में अभियोग पंजीकृत करते हुए अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार किया गया है तथा अग्रिम वैधानिक कार्यवाही प्रचलित है।

Even if the ECI does nothing beyond dismissing the 14 objections as “routine disagreements”, I’d like to believe that today’s story will, at the very least, make the CEC think twice before acting without the consent of his colleagues for the rest of his term.
