Seriously, MAGA, the Cabinet is chock full of billionaires and wannabe billionaires. They’re in it for the money. If @elonmusk@peterthiel & @JDVance decide it’s time for the 25th Amendment, they’d get half of the Cabinet to sign off on chucking @realDonaldTrump overnight.
"I can't get a girlfriend because you took away some of the malign social pressures that forced women to need men" is not a political opinion so much as it is a patriarchal tantrum and I don't understand supposedly left wing people who are giving any credence to it politically
People can analyze, hypothesize, blame Dems till they are blue in the face. None of it matters.
This is the game right here.
Misinformation works. Those that believed misinformation voted Trump. Those that believed the truth voted Harris.
There is NO candidate that can change this.
Republicans have a well oiled propaganda machine that spans all media platforms and we do not.
Period.
Guess I wasn’t clear. You can’t have good values and vote for Trump. Any film discourse I provide is founded on racial equality, intersectional feminism, LGBTQ support, and the fact that America is stolen land built by a stolen people.
So nah, respect ain’t mutual.
We are already seeing the rationalizing of how we got here and the blaming of the political party that, though flawed, actually reflects multiracial democracy. We must resist this. Voters knew exactly who Trump was and chose him anyway. This is not about the so-called excesses of the left. As the NYT editorial board writes, Trump ran the "most racist, sexist, and xenophobic campaign in modern history." As NYT reporter Lisa Lerer wrote today, "This was a conquering of the nation not by force but with a permission slip. Now, America stands on the precipice of an authoritarian style of governance never before seen in its 248-year history." This is the unsparing truth that we must confront.
I literally have never heard a crypto person make a sociotropic case for why non-crypto owners should care at all if the industry collapses. Like why should I not welcome this.
Let’s be very clear.
Y’all got played so hard.
She co-opted your politic and language hoping for the progressive vote and y’all bought into it, meanwhile she is equally committed to preserving Israel, her running mate turned out to be a transphobe and anti-abortion.
An absolute coward of a man. Trump comes on your show, can’t say a single honest thing - which you even make note of. And you still endorse him because your listener base is worth more than your integrity.
Churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, etc. are not required to be accessible to people with disabilities — A carve out in the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is an even bigger problem than usual when religious institutions are polling places.
I was working at an inner-city school & post-election 2016 was the eeriest day I’ve ever known. It was as if every student’s grandmother had died.
And when a 7th grader whispered “I’m scared he’ll deport my uncle,” I realized my students were carrying burdens I couldn’t imagine.
Nate Silver saying it took guts for Ann Selzer to release her polling numbers is very telling, particularly because that's all she did; she polled voters and released the findings. She just didn't change the numbers to protect herself from being an outlier like most are.
