@elonmusk You’re ignoring 30 yrs of intervening history, which revealed Putin’s true colors. It’s like running into Hitler in 1925 or even 1933 and saying, “what leadership potential!”
@KARoiphe amazing article in WSJ Review today. Beautifully written, perfectly descriptive of what I’m feeling in a similar spot. Just the reminder I needed to hear today to choose my better self! 🙏
@TheDuderineau@RealKidPoker This reply is exactly the sliding down a slippery slope Daniel is talking about: you are disqualifying a person’s point of view due to factors the person cannot control (race, societal status).
$10K COMPETITION
Making plans for my @WSOP trip 🔥
How many players will Main Event get?
Follow, RT +Guess exact entries (<3rd July)& @E_Branners will send winner $10K for any poker buy-ins (last time 2 players won-split $5K each-same rule)
Fav hand ever KTF Rob🙏
@JustinBonomo Stake your claim purely on the rules, very few object. It’s the “some feel unsafe” plank that’s so problematic: I feel mad/sad/unsafe/threatened/shamed/offended therefore the world is wrong.
@WeinsteinEdu Long time teacher here, disagree. 1) Time off in US society is a HUGE asset; 2) except in very high cost-of-living areas, hourly rate more meaningful than salary; 3) summer = opportunity to earn more!
@stubbornella@BillyG35908955@SarahTheHaider I quote this study a lot—thx for providing a link. It makes me wonder, though: why? Is it down to assholery (my interpretation of OP’s intent)? Society? Biology?
