The Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Anesthesia support the suggested idea of conducting a multi-societies international survey on the Intraoperative Management of Pulmonary Artery Catheter during Cardiac Surgery (IMPACCS).

The main investigators included Steffen Rex (Leuven Universit, Belgium), Jiapeng Huang (UofL, the USA), Blanca Martinez (Italy), Carolina Soledad (Spain), Eric Benedet Lineburger (Sao Jose, Brazil), Evangelia Samara(loannina University, Greece), and Mohamed El Tahan (Mansoura University, Egypt and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal, Saudi Arabia) in collaboration with 20 national and international societies
