In the last 24 hours, Russian armed forces launched a record-high number of long-range weapons across Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities. We are visiting impact sites to verify reports of civilian casualties.

The massive increase in the use of long-range weapons is one of the main reasons why civilian casualties in the first four months of 2026 were higher than in the same period in any of the last three years. In April, long-range weapons killed at least 84 civilians and injured 628, 43% of total civilian casualties.
