@keaneandrose @grandmasterorge @JimMFelton @MattPotter Heard a paramedic call into LBC radio a couple weeks ago. Almost in tears he said he "didn't become a paramedic to watch people die." He was the only qualified paramedic for an area covering 1M people, only 3 ambulances. Not his fault, absolutely govt fault :(

@ianledwards1 @JimMFelton They're striking because the govt cuts are putting ridiculous pressure on them. A paramedic said on radio the other day that he "didn't become a paramedic to watch people die". He was the only qualified medic for an area of 1M people. It's nothing to do with pay

@Brian_KA @SirWrender Most patents actually have pretty long, overexplanatory titles. If they put a catchy or ambiguous title it can make them harder to search for in an audit which would defeat the purpose (source: I work in Intellectual Property :) )
