Thanks @wlodekkr for the great live refactoring plus code-along at @ljcjug. I learnt about the chain of responsibility & the rules of poker. Love the idea of the refactoring pyramid!
Thank you Georgina McFadyen @gemcfadyen for a great talk on #SOLID principles in @elixirlang at https://t.co/CramfQRajY - what insightful explanations! I learned a lot today, thank you very much.
What’s your School? I find myself mostly following an “outside in” approach these days. An article by @gemcfadyen 🙂

How do you implement SOLID with the functional language @elixirlang? In this keynote @gemcfadyen shows us with a awesome presentation 👏 Illustrations are spot on and helpful #gotocph
Enjoyed this talk by @gemcfadyen on SOLID principles in @elixirlang . Nice seeing these being talked about in a functional context https://t.co/Jy2Uc6AKgR
@shon3005 Hi Shaun. The Umbrella is an Elixir structure, so will be comprised of Elixir sub projects, but you could have a python based microservice interacting (over http for example) with the services inside your umbrella. I think you can also call python functions from Elixir.
This was a great talk by @gemcfadyen on umbrella apps as well as covering topics like testing, distributed apps and other tips https://t.co/PHOQc3bXd3 Really helpful for a newbie to Elixir! #Elixir#functionalprogramming#UmbrellaApps
