You’ll often see Police Officers buying food on shift. We don’t have canteens anymore, and food prep isn’t always doable. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Today on our break during #PublicOrder duties we voted on @slimchickens for food. 🐓

Normally we queue up, wait for the orders and head back to our vehicle to eat, it’s awkward and not very comfortable, but you get used to it! 🫡

Not today though, the Slim’s manager was on it and asked if we’d like to sit in and enjoy our meal, so we did! Lots of lovely interactions with visitors to #London while we waited and then we got to sit down, enjoy our food and chat. 🍔🥤

Thank you to that manger, we’re only human, need to eat, and it was a very pleasant experience indeed! ☺️#ThinBlueLine 🚨
