I got home to find a juicy @BCU_Graphics grad publication copy hand delivered. Thank you for my beautifully designed keepsake. Sad to miss my Grad Co delivery friend - the father Christmas of grad shows. I wouldโve invited you in for tea. Was it you @neerajkainth_?
I love the simplicity, the opportunity for the accidental, as well as the ethereal quality. Iโve long been an admirer of the cyanotypes of Anna Atkins who pioneered the process and is thought to have been the first person to published a book with photographic images.
Cyanotypes are an early photography technique- producing an image by placing objects on light sensitive paper. Recently @gemmaince made these using ivy and ferns! Fancy learning how? We have spaces left for our workshop with @jo_gane on Wed 12th Aug at 3pm
