Farewell Twitter, you’re but a cesspool of MAGA sheeple now. I cannot knowingly support a platform that is instrumental in funding the oligarchy. Peace.

@PsnTimdog I agree. It seems like MS wants to gaslight customers in an attempt to have the best of both worlds by being 3rd party and keeping a say in the console space. Good luck. I don’t think consumers are that dumb.
@vicious696 I’m not against a games-everywhere world. But I think Microsoft is seriously underestimating the damage this will do to their already floundering console business if they are the only ones doing it. Install base is everything when it comes to 3rd party support and lack thereof.
@GetFitWithJared@ZhugeEX Except the economics don’t work. The reason consoles are a cheap entry point is that they are subsidized by the manufacturer who also reaps benefits of the software sales. If devices are 3rd party, where do they make money other than profit on the box (higher price to consumer)?
@WinC_Gaming But why? For whom? They’ve killed all reasons to own it or be excited for it. Xbox hardware will just be a reference implementation that can play a fraction of the games as its competitors devices.
@danno_omen Meh. The fact that a handheld is years out and the fact that he says we “will be doing” implies they are very early in development. That combined with their porting strategy will leave little appetite for the hardware when it eventually releases.
@CisSanity@Panyvino26 @metalgeartofu @PuffyBeard@LinkofSunshine Guardrails that have since been demolished, his general lack of understanding for checks and balances, and a few remaining patriots like John McCain. That’s all gone now.
@CisSanity @metalgeartofu @PuffyBeard@LinkofSunshine What is it that makes you hate anyone that’s not like you? It’s clearly part of your identity as you have “Cis” in your name. Just say you want America to follow your rules only - that’s why the authoritarian appeals to you so much.
@PuffyBeard@CisSanity @metalgeartofu @LinkofSunshine Like you’ll have a vote in 2028. When Trump whines like a bitch about rigged elections, it was projection. We’ll have elections like Russia does.
@CisSanity @metalgeartofu @PuffyBeard@LinkofSunshine The fact that you took the bait on trans issues (per your post), just shows how susceptible you are to boogeyman issues used to distract and divide. The issue is practically nonexistent, but it gave you a reason to vote for a candidate that appeals to the worst in humanity.
@CisSanity @metalgeartofu @PuffyBeard@LinkofSunshine But it is telling that the party he selected was the GOP because he knew the Dem base would be resistant to his horseshit. He really does, as he said, “love the poorly educated”. They’re just so easy to manipulate. Sadly, even against their own interests.
@LazloHolliefeld @_ThisWeeksTrend @DMC_Ryan Yes but it’s too early to see the impact of their recent policy changes. People had already purchased their Xbox series consoles. They wouldn’t just abandon them. But, when next gen comes, I guarantee you’ll see the ramifications in terms of Xbox hardware sales.
@LazloHolliefeld@DMC_Ryan Do you get to play PlayStation games on your Xbox? If not, then isn’t it a better value to buy a PlayStation and play Xbox games too? It’s really that simple. No one would be against it if all companies were doing it. But this will end Xbox hardware.
@CisSanity @metalgeartofu @PuffyBeard@LinkofSunshine People can democratically act to end democracy (whether intentional or not). The system requires an informed electorate to defend against charlatans like the one that just got elected. Otherwise it’s very easy to disguise true intentions behind empty populist rhetoric.
