or how do you shift it back to being just fun and a place to share beer and talk to one another. two heavily weighed views. My daughter complains all the time about not getting likes and thinks about it a lot. i didn't really care until she did
Social media has constructed a space where you're not entirely sure what is real or not. How you define real versus an online photo OP or tweet? Do you care if you get likes or mentions or shares?
I find it emotionally taxing to separate the two, or to really define my purpose of using it. at first it's fun and then it shifts to what do followers want and it's a popularity contest of who can brag harder
Teach your kids to put their social media accounts as private. My neighbor let their 14 year old have an instagram and it's open for everyone to see. 🤦♂️
My daughter said she was so happy to be home today. I love her but I told her home is where your things are . Thanks for visiting and bringing me beer.
Here's my take on @AllagashBrewing's COVID-fueled return to Wisconsin after a decade-plus. Most outlets have whatever they're getting in stock already, so if you want in on this, don't delay. https://t.co/AzJrn3qVQ2
Industry pals - Send your samples to people doing awesome, creative stuff that drives interest in the industry, not simply the people with the most followers. Chances are that those follower counts are faked anyways. Thanks in advance!
