@PeterDiamandis 🚨The DANGER ZONE of Exponential Growth.
📈 What's essential to point out here is that the early stages of exponential growth are often under linear growth.
This makes people nervous and cling to past conventions.

Honestly feel like this trend has to do more with lots of people in tech being fairly uncultured than anything else.
Successful people in finance often have these high cultural taste hobbies like art collecting or fine wines or literature.
Extremely rare in tech to see someone with that kind of interest. And I think that manifests itself physically in these low taste spaces that they curate. But it gets painted as a virtue to cope
Luck is found in motion, not at home. When you look at it, luck is nothing but subjecting yourself to possibilities. The universe hates no one more than the man who is constantly preparing. That endless preparation is nothing but anxiety wearing the mask of productivity, a clever psychological trap that lets you fool yourself into believing you're being wise and responsible, when in reality you're hiding from the raw fear of stepping into new possibilities, fresh failures, and the unknown.
It becomes the sneakiest form of procrastination, letting you dodge the guilt of doing nothing at all while convincing yourself you're making progress.
And the worst part is that this so called comfort you are clinging to is not even real comfort. You can only truly know comfort if you are prepared to face discomfort. When you stay forever in that safe zone, you're never at peace with it. Deep down, a strange guilt keeps eating away at you, quietly ruining any chance of real enjoyment, and you end up just grazing the top grass, staring at life without ever fully diving in.
As Henry James put it in A Portrait of a Lady,
"The fact is I’ve been comfortable so many years that I suppose I’ve got so used to it I don’t know it." "Yes, that’s the bore of comfort."
That’s exactly why luck only favors those who choose motion over safety, the ones who finally stop preparing and start moving.
live is a choice.
living in malaysia can be so more convenient rather than living in Indonesia, their infrastructure, education, minimun wages and healthcare are straight up superior than Indonesia.
while Indonesia is struggling economically, lack of infrastructure+education, tiny regional minimun wages, and the healthcare.
but you can have fun in here, you can choose whatever your believe, culture far more thriving, no one is segregrated with their status, everyone can speak and understand their national language and their local language.
Why do some men learn to flirt while others don’t?
From working with so many men over the past 20 years, I can tell you this:
• Some men just LOVE women and love learning how to flirt & tease & toy with them
• Some men have a father/brother/uncle/friend who teaches them & they learn it’s how you get girls
• Some men are late bloomers and realize only later on they need to flirt to do better with girls
As for the guys who don’t, they’re usually logical/analytical guys who feel like communication should consist of exchanges of factual information and philosophical or pragmatic thoughts.
The idea of playful banter hurts their brains and seems inferior and meaningless to them.
Which frustrates them, because they see these guys they view as ‘inferior’ to them cleaning up with a bunch of girls they think SHOULD be into them for their superior wisdom, perspectives, success in life, etc… only to discover the women still prefer the flirtatious guy anyway.
Hint: it is very much possible to be the intelligent man able to deal in facts and deep, thoughtful analyses, yet also switch into flirtation mode, enjoy yourself with women, and pick them up.
It is just a second skill set…
Actionable steps on how to get lucky:
>realize how lucky you are. you are healthy. you are good-looking. you are born into the right environment. you have a family that cares for you. the game has been rigged in your favor since day 1
>you are never "unlucky" - remove this from your vocabulary
>start paying attention to what separates the lucky ones from the unlucky ones. are those lucky ones really lucky? or are they just bending reality to their will + creating opportunities that make them lucky?
>ask yourself every day, what have you done today to make yourself lucky?
>understand that to get lucky, you need to EXPOSE yourself to the right environment, people, circle, and moments. no one gets lucky sitting on the couch watching TV or playing games
>to increase your chances of getting lucky, you need to invest time, money, energy, and work on your mental models. without this, nothing will succeed, and you should remind yourself of this every day...
>remember that luck can be created (influenced)
Had a wealthy friend tell me that the ability to decrease time to any outcome is the one skill behind every successful person he knows.
A few I apply constantly:
- Decreasing the time it takes you to get out of a bad state will make you emotionally resilient
- Decreasing the time it takes you to go from idea to executive will make you wealthy
- Decreasing the time it takes you to turn a failure into a lesson will thicken your skin faster than anything else
The European way of living is the right way of living. Humans were supposed to cycle to work, use stairs everywhere, eat healthy food, climb a rock, sit in a cafe after work and watch passersby. Also import immigrants for the hard jobs.
@sunnkssdseraph This is why the concept of 'leaving work at the door' is so vital.
If you find yourself being a saint to the world and a storm to your family, you aren't actually a kind person. You're just a polite performer.
Never show them the process. Appear effortless. The more they see your struggle, the more human you become, and humanity doesn’t inspire obedience. Hide your labor. Let the finished product look divine. Effortlessness is the perfume of power.
Hi im a Malaysian who is looking for a British, Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch to give me free money weekly and pay my bills as a way to say sorry for how ur ancestors colonized mine❤️thank You
The universe will make sure you'll win if you just believe in yourself. Universe doesn’t reward talent, luck, or intelligence first , it rewards the one who believe in themselves. let me remind you every good thing that you have in your life came after you decided to believe in it. even when nothing seems to be working. even when it feels quiet. even when your faith starts to shake a little. keep believing. keep visualizing. Keep showing up like it's already yours. Universe moves in silence before it reveals its magic. what you can't see is still unfolding. what feels delayed is simply on its right time. your belief is the bridge between where you are and where you're meant to be. Hold the vision a little longer cause It's already on its way to you. Manifest the sh!t out of it!!!
Nowhere to hide when you’re an adult.
You’re either putting up results or you aren’t.
Being an adult is the funnest chapter yet.
If you did it right, you should have 100s of friends, enough $ to not worry about money, and always doing cool things having the time of your life
You never hear someone who’s ripped, handsome, successful, & charismatic complaining about being an adult
Life is what you make it
If you’ve ever worked in finance, you know women like this are a force of nature, especially at top-tier banks. They might not be the “rainmaker” bringing a deal in, but they’re often the ones making sure the deal actually gets done, the client gets their win, and the bank gets its fees. They’re smart, hard-working, usually the most focused and disciplined person in the room, and utterly ruthless.
If you’re capable and you show them professional respect, they will move mountains for you. If you’re lazy, dumb, or a roadblock, though, they won’t hesitate to steamroll you and leave your body in an alley behind the building. The definition of no better friend, no worse enemy.
You’d have to to be insane to pick a fight with someone like this, especially if the facts of the case aren’t completely on your side. We’re not even 24 hours into this story and it’s already clear the guy who tried dragging this woman through the mud is likely the dumbest dude who’s ever had a job on Wall Street. He truly has no idea what he’s done or what he’s in for.
