Looking at Atlanta you'll be like it's not that bad over here.
Some say dense sprawl is worse than very spread out sprawl
idk if i agree with it. smaller yards and backyards, people actually do more stuff with them. And other thoughts I have against super low density sprawl
Atlanta took old school Europe with winding roads and built sprawl. There is no planning, its inner suburbs close to the center are decaying with abandoned lots. Unlike Canada and Cal it's not dense sprawl with pathways so transit is a disaster(look at MARTA recovery).
Much of metro Atlantaβs land use remains incredibly low density. We simply cannot service the entire metro with transit, where we have limited funds & frankly limited amount of people to in scattered areas.
