My two cents on the #UCL final:
I genuinely didn’t mind the way Arsenal played last night, despite all of these stats talk and them recording the lowest possession percentage in a final since 2004.
They were up against a brilliant PSG side, the same team that demolished Inter 5-0 in last season’s final and has looked frightening going forward all season. You simply cannot leave space for this PSG team to attack. We saw what happened when Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern tried to do that. Arsenal also don’t have the attacking tools Bayern had in the semi-finals to go toe-to-toe with them in an open game.
And this was a final, not a two-legged tie. Sometimes you have to prioritize control and defensive solidity, which Arsenal are really good at, and avoid taking risks against such a scary opponent.
I believe no team made it harder for PSG than Arteta did this season. Enrique himself said this victory felt even better than last year’s.
Arsenal produced a defensive masterclass in the first half, restricted PSG’s dangerous wingers, and if my team had delivered that kind of performance against them, I would have praised it.
That’s not an easy thing to do against the brilliant mind of Luis Enrique, who adapted after the break. Even then, Arsenal still managed to take the game all the way to penalties.
So yes, Arsenal did well. My issue is with the post-match reactions from Arteta and the fanbase, particularly the claims about the refereeing.
Saka was fortunate not to concede a penalty, Mosquera should have been sent off for what was a clear second yellow card, which could have ended things in regular time, and it was never a penalty on Madueke. He was holding Mendes’ arm and pulling him down.
Just accept that you weren’t robbed and PSG fully deserved to win the title, not only for the final but their whole path as well.
@SonOfAnarchy_14 Kinda hard when you put all 11 players behind the ball, modern day stoke city 🤣 the tactics in the final were shocking. Minute 10 onwards it was time wasting and theatrics
This angle...WOW

@TedSchhmosby And knowing that the time is short, it changes how you perceive life and all your other relationships as well. You understand more closely that what matters more in life is just the small happy moments we spend with those closest to us.
Get a dog bro.
@TedSchhmosby Life is never about longevity. Nothing is eternal. The beauty of life is in knowing that this won't last forever, so whatever time you have you make the most of it.
No creature embodies that more completely and perfectly than a dog.
Local players that play alongside them in terms of tactics, experience and exposure.
The blend of diaspora players and local players is very important for the growth of football in Pakistan.
And whether they speak broken English or broken Urdu, doesn't really matter.
People who choose to represent the national team should be celebrated and supported.
Local players are also part of the team and the squad. The fact that players who have played in the UK or other countries have access to better facilities and competition.
That can only help
This is Pakistani national football team with half the players coming from UK.
Why not give local talent a chance?
Can someone sponsor Urdu classes for them.
@SonOfAnarchy_14@Adikastakes Gabriel up there too but I think Raya has helped you guys get more points, he's made some unreal saves. I would probably say Raya, then Gabriel and Rice third.
And it's also not for any malice or ill intent, but genuinely there are segments in our leadership who think this is the best/safest way to secure Pakistan's interests. But yeah let's keep dancing to the tune, we're more than happy to do that for the actual global powers. 🤷
Everyone's a yahoodi agent in Pakistan.
But you know there are people who are actually sitting, working out deals, and collaborating in our govt with the LITERAL YAHOODIS who are responsible for the attacks on Palestine and Iran and other Muslim countries..so I don't know.. 🤷
Then people saying Pakistan is next, or if Pakistan didn't have nukes we'd be next.
Brotha...WE WERE FIRST 😭😅
Never in Pakistan's history has there been a need for external military intervention.
Internally everyone is more than happy taking the dollar dollah bills
@tsauceness I think if you objectively look at what's happening on set pieces, Arsenal players are by far the worst at it. No other team does what arsenal players do in terms of fouling opposition players during corners.
For other teams these type of actions are called out for fouls also
