@viceroyvw@sledRob@NHL@Energizer It was not clearly over the line. The camera is not straight above the goal line, it's at an angle. Thats why you need to see white between the puck and the goal line to be conclusive.
@dillonfast8@worldhockeyrpt They did not. Elliot Friedman on the post game panel said the operations room said they didnt have an angle that definitively showed either way. So whatever the call on the ice was would if stood. No ref was in a position to see the puck in the net to call it a goal on the ice
@viceroyvw@sledRob@NHL@Energizer Need conclusive evidence to overturn the call on the ice. It would if been no goal if the call on the ice was no goal. Not enough conclusive evidence to overturn it either way. No ref could see it go in, so they huddled and realized they were late for their dinner
@NHL@Energizer Fire your refs. None were in position to call that a goal on the ice. Your league is a joke. Promote betting though! Maybe get competent refs next year
@JasonGregor Id be curious how the nhl can promote betting and then pull calls like this. No ref saw it in from their vantage point. Yet they huddle and say it was a good goal. They need to make refs available to the media after calls like this to keep them accountable. Let us know who saw it
@ryanwhitney6 And yet the @nhl promotes betting, and pull this shit, absolute joke. Get competent officials, its not that difficult. Or make the refs face the media after to explain how they came to the decision.
@jsbmbaggedmilk I think if photo evidence comes out later to show they botched a call, the refs should have to face a media scrum to answer what they saw on the replays that caused them to be bad at their job
@elksherd Wasn't a fan of Ekholm being in the lineup, he clearly wasn't 100% and it affected his play. Im a huge fan of him, but I think keeping Stecher in and Eks out was the proper call there. But hindsight is 20/20
@KevinMcCurdy Not sure where I land on Frederic, but he could be a case where he never really recovered fully from his injury. Maybe after an off-season with proper rehab he starts looking like his old self. Would like to see maybe a 1 year prove it deal before they go long term on him
