Today, we publish the GenesisL1 White Paper v1.0.

The infrastructure came first. The white paper comes now.

GenesisL1 has produced blocks since November 2021. It is a live, public and decentralized Layer‑1 network built to make scientific data, machine-learning models, computation, digital rights and protected knowledge verifiable and programmable within one shared environment.

The working stack already includes:

• MOLNFT for molecular scientific objects
• DatasetNFT for dataset identity, provenance and programmable rights
• GL1F for content-addressed Model NFTs and deterministic fixed-point machine-learning inference inside the EVM
• CIPNFT for encrypted scientific intellectual property, controlled disclosure and buyer-safe transfer—with optional ML‑KEM‑768 post-quantum key protection
Together, these protocols establish a data → model → execution → result → IP workflow for researchers, institutions, applications and autonomous AI agents.
The network’s molecular layer represents more than 733,919 structures, including approximately 229,000 complete Protein Data Bank entries and roughly 50 GB held fully in replicated chain state.
L1 is the network’s native coin. It secures consensus, prices computation and storage, pays for execution, helps protect the ledger against indiscriminate state growth and enables community governance—allowing GenesisL1 to operate as independent infrastructure rather than depending on another blockchain.

Blockchain does not make a scientific conclusion true. GenesisL1 makes the exact data, model, execution, result, licence and transfer history independently verifiable.

The question is no longer whether this architecture can be described.

It is what researchers, AI teams, biotechnology companies, scientific institutions and developers will build with an environment that is already running.
