@chloerazzl @shitpost_2077 Plus in Terraria biomes are baked into the progression of the game. Like some ore being biome specific.

And in Minecraft, just do whatever you want. Biomes are blank canvas for players, you go to a biome not to progress but to explore. Not because game forced you, but you did.

And yes, you can conquer such biomes in both games. Plus everyone have different preferences. Some might like pale garden.

And also iirc in an interview they specifically noted that both the Nether and the End already scream danger the second you arrive. They designed the Sift to break away from that.

And that's really it, and community came to a conclusion to what that portal holds behind it. Which is different from official thing.
