Delighted to announce that as of today 40,000 participants have been recruited to GenOMICC globally!
This is an extraordinary milestone that reflects the commitment of research teams, and the generosity of critically ill patients and their relatives, across the whole world.
We are open over the festive period and samples are fine to be sent as normal. Deliveries of specimen kits may take a little longer than usual over this time. If you can, please do let us know in good time if you need a top up. ๐ฌ๐ฆ
As a small end of year thank you, we are delighted to be sending GenOMICC tote bags to all research teams who do so much for us! We're busy packaging these up at the moment and they should be with you very soon!๐ฆ
As we head towards the end of the year, please do let us know if you need any sample kits or supplies and we'll get these sent out before the Christmas rush. We will be open as usual to receive samples over the festive period so please do continue to recruit if possible ๐ฎ

This Sepsis Awareness Month we are asking you to speak up for sepsis ๐ฃ
Please use your voice and take 30 seconds to share your sepsis story with your community. Whether you have experienced sepsis, lost a loved one or work in health care, we want to hear from you.
As Sepsis Awareness Month starts, Dr. Andrew Conway Morris, Medical Director for Sepsis Research FEAT, sits down with Beth Budgen, a sepsis survivor and trustee of Sepsis Research FEAT, to discuss the reality of this life-threatening condition.
