Ford Foundation is funding traffic in Nakuru-Nairobi Highway at Kimende and Mai Mahiu so that IMF and World bank can lend money for its expansion. Tupatane Tuesday
I met a guy at midnight as we fueled, he was lamenting. He was meant to go for work at Naivasha and get back to Nairobi. 0000h found him on the rd. Nowhere near his destination. Double fuel cost, a mad client, loss in his business & taxes on his face. Crazy!! #Kimende#traffic
I spent 9h on that rd yesterday. Left Nairobi at 3pm, got to Nakuru at 2am. Very few traffic police to help out. We the drivers would coordinate ourselves, make the traffic move and move our vehicles at the same time. A distance that I spend 2500 on fuel costed me 6k.

Rebecca Miano deserves another chance in the cabinet, having a proven track record at Kengen clearly shows she's a woman who can do wonder.
@rebecca_miano
This morning, I joined the Education Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Ezekiel Machogu, and my colleague PS, State Department for Basic Education, Dr. Belio Kipsang, and State Department for Higher Education and Research, Dr. Beatrice Inyangala, during a courtesy call by the Japanese Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Okaniwa Ken.
Areas of discussion involved possible areas of collaboration between the two governments.
Proposed areas of collaboration for TVET include support for upskilling TVET trainers, automation, artificial intelligence, and applied research.
Other areas will include twinning technical TVET colleges in Kenya with technical universities in Japan.
The Japanese government has been a partner with the Ministry of Education for many years and has been instrumental in the development of human capital across many sectors in the country.
@abuga_makori These are online fairy tales. My passport has taken forever to progress. On the portal it still reads biometric yet I passed that stage months ago. When will it ever be printed?
China Square owner, Lei Cheng, claims that his inspiration to open to store came when he saw products he knew from his country being over priced in Kenya. In short, he is is being fought for lowering the cost of living.
The solution to China Square is not to close or remote control the prices! It is the government to find out why consumers have been buying the same commodities at exploitative prices.
China Square should open branches all over the country...
@Muri_Mugambi @moneyacademyKE KRA should have its independent raxing systems. Tax evaders are well known to them, this is just an excuse to find more taxing points, infact double taxation
@moneyacademyKE Government inajua Kenyans ama inawaskia tu. Every good thing working in Kenya is because citizens embraced it. We will go back to withdrawing all money and using cash like nothing happened.
