My friends @Retroware and @JustySilverman sent me a prototype of the upcoming AVGN NES game to inspect the hardware and make sure it wasn’t a diarrhea-fried disaster cart.
It doesn’t suck.
Great PCB, quality parts, and the game kicks ABSOLUTE ANUS.
The Nerd would approve!
One of the most influential figures in modern media is the Prediction Broker.
A Prediction Broker gains credibility by accurately forecasting developments within a narrative.
The more predictions they get right, the more authority they accumulate.
The catch is that every successful prediction also reinforces the framework from which the prediction emerged.
The audience begins asking:
➟ What happens next?
Instead of:
➟ Is this story even true?
That’s the real product being sold.
Not information.
Not investigation.
Certainty.
A Prediction Broker doesn’t have to prove the narrative.
They only have to become the most trusted guide through it.
Eventually the audience becomes so focused on the next prediction that they stop examining the stage, the script, and the people directing the performance.
The prediction becomes evidence for the narrative.
The broker becomes evidence for the prediction.
And the cycle feeds itself.

Jesus challenged rigid rules, emphasizing love above all. While tithing and specifics matter, don't let them overshadow the weightier matters of the law. Both are important, but love is paramount. #Faith#Love#SpiritualGrowth

This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them.
Jesus spoke of no one knowing the day or hour of His return. Historically, the Feast of Trumpets was known as that day because it relied on sighting the new moon. Could this feast signal His coming? #FeastOfTrumpets#SecondComing#ChristianFaith
Did you know the Sega Saturn version of "DESIRE" featured lip-syncing? The game utilized an "auto vowel selecting system" (or AVSS) that matched spoken vowels to specific mouth shapes. This feature carried over into future re-releases of the game.
