Today, I embarked on a special inspection of the ongoing Abua–Agba Ndele Bridge and the Ahoada–Ndele Road project. This bridge project is strategic because it links LGAs of Abua/Odual, Ahoada-East and Emohua, providing fast access to the East-West Road and to Port Harcourt city. It will save travel time, boost economic activities, especially agriculture and improve movement of goods and services.

While I am impressed with the quality and progress of work on the bridge handled by Setraco Nig. Ltd, I am not quite satisfied with Stream Nig. Ltd, the contractor managing the road leading to the East-West Road. Their capacity is questionable and the contract will be reviewed because every Kobo spent must deliver value.

We are tactically touching all LGAs and more roads will be captured, including the deplorable Ahoada–Abua road, in our 2026 budget.

Our vision remains the same: to connect all parts of Rivers State through quality infrastructure that drives growth and development.

When Obong Victor Attah and other S.South elders waged a diplomatic war for resource control against the federal government controlled by the West and North, it was only the Igbos that gave us 100% political support, forcing the federal government to give us just 13% of what is ours.

Today same people are telling us, the S.South people, that Igbos want to take our resources, Oga rest, you have taken all our resources already and we don't have any resources left for the Igbos to take. The most painful thing is that they even want the S.South people to be thankful and to show gratitude for just the 13% received

Instead of restructuring the country to ensure there is justice and fairness in the system, they are busy fooling themselves with propaganda thinking the S.South people are fools.
Emergency lovers of the S.South people, their new talking point is that "Igbos can leave Nigeria provided they are not leaving with the S.South", they have made themselves the mouthpiece of the S South, but it is classic that the actual S.South people have remained silent over this subject and will watch them make a mistake

God willing, in one bold move, we will have our long desired 100% control over our resources. For now, it's our best tactic to remain silent while we await opportunities to present itself. At the right time, we shall decide our destiny and make our choices by ourselves

It is only justice, equity and fairness to all, that can build a united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria, not a tilted system or constitution or any instrument of coercion that only seeks to sustain undue advantages over others, veiled in the propaganda of a non negotiable union
