@MichaelAlbertMD@MarioATX_MD If there’s one thing I’ve learned from doing this in the coding space, is that you’ll get a million people who feel threatened that this is taking away their job.
AI in the healthcare space is a massive access equaliser and you’d be a fool for not leaning into it.
@brettroberts@StaceyGray11 This problem was solved literally decades ago. There is a grace period of several hours where the old price (if it is lower) is what is applied at the checkout.
@MusicalChairs14 Other than going back to ECNZ, what assets would be better under govt ownership?
I think we should have sold NZ Post and kept Telecom, but the Chorus split and the fibre rollout would never have happened.
@MusicalChairs14 His theories on taxes and tarrifs being bad mmmkaaaay is still completely correct. Eg, raising taxes on petrol does nothing for buyer behaviour except for more complaints due to other alternatives adjusting their prices too.
@MichaelAlbertMD No one wants to hear that a lifetime of food and exercise choices now have consequences.
If the pancreas has given up, it’s permanent but like you say, you can manage it such that it’s not really a problem (with lifestyle improvements etc). No such thing as a cure though :(
@MusicalChairs14 @TB_inaleakyboat As an example, Los Angeles has had a perpetual water crisis for decades but technology and general efficiencies have managed to keep their rickety system going.
@MusicalChairs14 In our defense, our fibre-to-the-home plans leave Australia in the dirt.
John Key did at least one thing right, and the fibre rollout was the best in the world.
