@AegonDayne While I think it’s sometimes referenced as if it’s fact (incl. the Jaeharys quote someone supplied), I still consider it ultimately unconfirmed. And I can’t tell if it’s because GRRM just enjoys the unreliability of history or he has some sort of big Orys misdirect planned.
@muhammadbutt I read the books between S1 & S2. Was he not perceived the way he is now by book readers pre-show? I know being a show watcher plays a role in how I view the characters, but I think he reads as competent, ruthless, and rightfully regarded as one of the leading men of his age.
@classic_film Do you think it’s a bad depiction of Guy Gardner, or you’d simply prefer a different GL? I prefer Jordan and Stewart (whom we will eventually be getting in this universe) but think the portrayal of GG was spot on.
@VanLathan He made a promise. While we don’t know the exact parameters, Ned clearly believed that he had to keep R+L from both Jon and even Catelyn to keep it.
(Also, I agree with you.)
@BenStiller@AIScreenplays I’d like return to 5 gm 1st round or keep best of 7 except that if team goes up 3-0, the series is over. Adds drama, interest, and motivation when a team is up 2-0 & a momentum wrinkle at 2-1 w/down team getting a boost & adding pressure to team that went all-in but didn’t close.
@Scoooota8@Cliff41344771 I think Taylen should go up a level with another offseason, but somewhat similar to KJ, he also seemed to lock in on his first read/Armstrong to the detriment of other guys’ production.
@sailorplvto@CurlyMcNulty I watched earlier this week and had the same experience. There were some early lines and vibes that would’ve been great to look back on post-reveal as “Ohhhhh, THAT’S why…”, but they were already dampening by knowing from the beginning.
