In no order of importance: Geography Teacher, Head of Faculty EBACC & RS, wife, mum, global citizen. Passionate about the transformative power of education.
@HMRCcustomers I’ve been on hold for over 56mins, trying to ask a simple question that I have found impossible to locate on the website. So trying here - how can I get past info on my annual PAYE for more than 5 years ago? I need pre-2019 which is not on my online account. Thanks
@mtptproject No legal obligation but the govt doc makes out that schs should provide the care. I was in a mess when my childminder stopped and there was no after school club - had to press the school, talk to governors and prove the demand by getting other parents on board.
@spacecentre This was my son’s favourite present! He’s starting a Space topic at school in Jan but he’s a bit worried he won’t learn anything new because of his frequent trips to the Space Centre (we live down the road and have had annual passes since he was born!)
@JamesCleverly@andreajenkyns@educationgovuk You need to insist that she makes a public apology for her behaviour. A disgraceful display that any teacher caught doing the same would face disciplinary action for. Only a few days in the job and you are letting teachers down!
@andreajenkyns@JamesCleverly@educationgovuk Disgusting behaviour shown yesterday. An awful example to set. My students know better than you and when they make mistakes, they say sorry. Will you do the same?
@PearsonEOhelp Uploaded the NEA documents for my A Level Geographers at about 11o’clock yesterday morning and 2 documents are still scanning. I can’t ‘submit request’ until they have - I’m concerned there’s an error. Please advise!
@Mike_Fabricant I’ve been a teacher over 12 years - no drinking in the staff room ever - obviously! Perhaps in the private school staff rooms of your youth but in case you aren’t aware - that is not the standard of education across the country.
@Mike_Fabricant To bring key workers into a ridiculous defence of law breaking at No10 is an absolute disgrace. Throughout lockdowns staff rooms were closed, meetings were held on TEAMs, we followed one way systems & socially distanced. We said goodbye to departing colleagues over a screen.
⚠️Great programme of talks for secondary school #GeographyTeachers this term👇
Join us to explore how to teach the climate emergency, how to make fieldwork inclusive for all young people, how to develop consistency in lesson planning, & more 🙌

@Primageographer @GAChiefExec @The_GA@EYPPC_GA The Snail and the Whale is awesome - the illustrations and prose are designed to instill a sense of wonder and awe of different locations around the world… I love it just as much as my kids do!
Huge thanks to @hallamfieldsps for putting on a fantastic nativity play. Really grateful they went the extra mile to ensure a ‘normal’ and special experience for the children and their parents!
@sainsburys@SainsburysMag I am also boycotting @sainsburys until they stop funding hate. It is disgusting that they are not responding to customer concerns regarding this.
