@mrthompson81 @BritishBuIIdog No his net spend for last season was ok, but that doesn’t factor in the insane wages players were on. His net spend was awful in his first transfer window

[George Adey @george_adey]

@JonWalker1983 @villamatt1874 Yes and being able to pay champions league winners 60k a week

[George Adey @george_adey]

@LongTimeAVFC @adroberts_adam @Yxllop Me too, can’t wait to wave him off. Think it will be tomorrow though

[George Adey @george_adey]

@mrthompson81 @BritishBuIIdog He spent 30 million himself and then build a wage bill of loan players that would have been 13th highest in the premier league

[George Adey @george_adey]

@Reece_AV Surely a tiny bit of excitement over Henry, potentially could be a lot of fun!

[George Adey @george_adey]

@wolves_1990 @doc3d Not for me, no.

[𝗱 𝗮 ꪜ 𝗲. @doc3d]

“Why would Villa sack Steve Bruce??”

Simple. Because he failed. His remit wasn’t playoffs or push for promotion it was to get us up. He signed big players on huge championship wages. Possibly the highest earners in the league and he failed. Henry or not Bruce has to go. #avfc.

[Gaz Williams @GazWilliams1]

How has Bruce bought stability to Villa?.We were financially ruined,a squad full of loans who went back,no desire to promote youth, tactically inept, arrogant, reluctance to play players he bought and out on big money, etc. If that's stability then give me Henry everyday of the week!.

[George Adey @george_adey]

@Cokane69 @villareport RDM won the champions league, andbif that’s true why didn’t Bruce get us up?

[George Adey @george_adey]

@justinallen1976 @AVFCOfficial Because he didn’t get us promoted with the most expensively assembled squad there has ever been in this league. And his is tactically inept, plus never integrates the youth.....

[Tom Robinson @tomrobbo89]

Fellow Villa fans, it's possible to appreciate what Bruce has done for the club (under pretty terrible personal circumstances) whilst still being critical of him failing to achieve promotion. Yes Henry would be a risk but so would keeping Bruce. Too many binary opinions

[George Adey @george_adey]

@MrjoshUK Well Lansbury is on 40k a weeek and Bruce still doesn’t play him. I guess my main issue with Bruce is that if we keep him we probably won’t finish that low, but We aren’t going up. Is that genuinely what our fans are looking for? Never to get back to the prem?

[George Adey @george_adey]

Saying that Bruce got the best out of Grealish is like me saying I get the best of out my TV by turning it on #easy

[George Adey @george_adey]

@HJMav @ClassyAVFC If Jack goes it’s a huge shame but I would understand. Bruce doesn’t really have any tactics, we still don’t have a footballingidentity nearly 2 years into his reign. Yes whoever is manager I will support the team, and if it’s Henry he will need it. But thereis a big opportunity

[Dave B 🦁 @TheVillaYamYam]

I'm excited by the idea of Henry joining Villa. With that is Steve Bould comes in as well yes its not going to be fireworks straight away but lets not write a bloke off before his walked in through the door! #avfc

[George Adey @george_adey]

@HJMav @ClassyAVFC Oh and btw the comments were made while jack was injured. Check the dates ;)

[George Adey @george_adey]

@ClassyHenri And why use Hogan as a target man, his with now is about 3 million and we bought him for 11
