Tried an electric hire car. This @PolestarCars was great but on return the car hire company charged £60 to charge from 40% to 80%… it had done 98 miles!

I’m all for electric, but to have spent £60 driving 98 miles in a Diesel vehicle would have been 11mpg (the same as my bus…)

On the way home now from Galway. Despite having a dedicated coach station, most scheduled services have started leaving from the double yellows outside - drop off charges are quoted outside as €10 for 30 mins, so it’s no surprise some operators are choosing this option!
