I believe precise language is essential for truth and transparency. Men who wear dresses are not women. Ethnic cleansing is Israel's foundational idea.
In the 1948 Palestine war, more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs – about half of Mandatory Palestine's predominantly Arab population – were expelled or fled from their homes, at first by Zionist paramilitaries, and after the establishment of Israel, by its military. (Wikipedia)
A very limited number of iPhone 18 devices have entered Gaza, and this is raising questions here!!
For three years, we have been calling for medicines, medical treatments, medical equipment, tents, and fuel to be allowed into Gaza, while the latest phones in the world are now entering in very limited numbers.
These devices will be used against us in the media, just as happened last year. They will be photographed and shown to the world as if they are proof that life in Gaza is normal and that people here can access the latest products.
The same narrative will be repeated: “Look, they have the iPhone 18, so Gaza cannot be that bad.” But behind that image are patients who cannot find treatment, hospitals lacking essential equipment, and families searching for tents to protect their children.
People here are living in fear of the coming winter. Families are worried about how they will protect their children from the cold and rain, while many still do not have a safe place to live.
The presence of a few modern phones does not mean that Gaza is living a good life. We are living a completely different reality, filled with fear, loss, destruction, and a lack of the most basic necessities.
Do not let an image of a phone be used to hide the reality of what is happening here. Gaza needs medicine, medical equipment, food, water, tents, fuel, and safety, not an image used to make a devastating reality look better than it is.
🔴 West Bank: On 23 September, Israeli forces demolished the homes of 91 people in Jinba, Masafer Yatta, Palestine. They destroyed 12 homes, including one belonging to an MSF community health worker, plus water tanks and animal shelters. This is the third mass demolition in Masafer Yatta this month.
“They didn't even warn us - they just came and demolished everything. One soldier told them, ‘demolish it completely, I don't want to find anything left.’ But whatever they do, we will stay here and try by any means to rebuild our home.” - MSF community health worker.
As part of our rapid response interventions, we donated mattresses, blankets and other items for people in Jinba whose homes were destroyed. It’s our fifth response this month for demolitions, all in south Hebron hills and Masafer Yatta.
We have seen demolitions by Israeli forces affect 69 families in the last 6 months alone, and these numbers keep rising. Israeli authorities must stop demolitions, forcible transfer and all measures that force Palestinians from their homes.
Now that the dust is settling on the Syrian collapse, we can see more clearly the curve of history. Alongside the monstrosity of the Zionist occupation and the Gaza slaughter, the other, furtive monsters of history have appeared in stark relief.
For decades, the elites of the Sunni majority states turned their backs on the Palestinians. Their betrayal was justified in their own minds by their contempt for Shia-majority Iran. But their collusion with the Israeli and Western capitalist elites is driven by a more powerful force. The excitable teenage minds of techno-modernists will never allow sleepy agricultural regions to stay as they are.
Whether the locations they have in their sights are cradles of a civilization matters nought. They stopped trying to understand and reproduce their own origins a long time ago. The Ziggurat of Ur no longer has any meaning. They are energised by endlessly recurring dreams of modernisation, progress and capital accumulation. The Saudi sovereign wealth fund is now nothing more than a private equity corporation, competing for investment opportunities with Blackrock, Vanguard and all the others.
Accordingly, they see the Levant as nothing more than a huge piece of real estate ripe for development. Their minds are relentelssly troubled by feverish visions of ports, canals, bridges, roads, condominiums, hotels, factories, international airports, shopping malls, holiday resorts, sports stadia, casinos and the sort of sanitised sex shops and brothels approved by Priests and Rabbis. All with that same corporate look about them.
Sleepy Palestine saw generations of farmers bringing their olives to market on carts. Jewish, Muslim and Christian grandfathers shared jokes as they kept an eye on the grandkids during the school holidays. Workers made castile soap in Nablus. But all that was no use. GDP was too low and investment opportunities too thin on the ground. Anything or anyone who gets in the way is collateral damage. Besides, we must stop the Chinese Belt'n'Road initiative, which seems to help development without settler occupation and so much collateral damage.
Sleepy innocence must die, never to be reborn. Chirico saw it coming.
What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.
So we're going on tour. All proceeds will benefit organizations supporting the Palestinian people and movement.

Enemy Israeli aircraft are dropping bags on us containing a substance called “מי בואש” (“skunk water”), a liquid with an extremely foul smell that is considered non-toxic.
It is commonly used for crowd control and dispersing protests.
@tvlicensing Quite disgusting. Luckily there are few if any other service providers who send threatening letters to people who decide not to buy their services.
You don't know who James Purnell is. That's exactly how he likes it.
While you were busy watching Burnham on the news, this man moved into No.10. No election. No vote. No mandate. He just walked in and sat down. Let me introduce you to the man who is now running your country.
Start with the money. When Purnell was Work and Pensions Secretary he claimed £395 on parliamentary expenses, your money, for an accountant's advice on the sale of his own London flat. He told Parliament the flat was his second home and drew the second home allowance on it. When he sold it he used the main residence rule with HMRC so no capital gains tax was due. Same property. Two different answers depending on who was asking. He was not found to have broken the rules. He was not asked to repay. He was the minister in charge of making sure you did not claim too much.
While he was Culture Secretary he got caught out by a hospital photo. He was late to the event. The other MPs had already left. The hospital photographed him on the same spot and merged him into the group shot. The trust said he consented. He denied agreeing to a fake. Later emails showed the hospital telling him they would “drop you into the photographs” and sending him the doctored picture. Jeremy Hunt, then shadow culture secretary, said his position was “completely untenable.” He kept the job.
That same year he stood in front of the TV industry and told them to clean up after a wave of fakery scandals. Weeks later he was in a faked photo. The man lecturing Britain on media integrity was in a cut and paste job from a hospital car park.
Back to welfare. Purnell proposed charging 26.8 percent annual interest on crisis loans to the unemployed and pensioners. Not loan sharks. The government. Targeting people who needed emergency money for a broken boiler. Gordon Brown had to kill it. His department also trialled “voice risk analysis” lie detector style tests on benefits claimants. The trials were dropped. Disability campaigners still name him as one of the ministers who helped turn poverty into a character test.
Then in 2009 he stabbed Gordon Brown in the back. He timed his resignation letter to drop at maximum political damage, called publicly for Brown to “stand aside,” and walked out. Not for the country. Not for the voters. He calculated it was the right move for him. The man who called for his own Prime Minister to quit is now the unelected Chief of Staff to the next one. He writes the day. Burnham reads it.
After Parliament he went to the BBC. No programme making experience. Former Labour cabinet minister handed a director role at BBC Radio worth around £300,000. Conservative MPs called it a mockery of impartiality. He spent seven years inside the BBC. Then he left.
Then came Flint Global. He became CEO of one of Britain's most secretive lobbying firms. Known clients have included BP, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, Jaguar Land Rover and water industry interests. Flint refuses to publish its full UK client list. After Labour won, the firm met government 38 times across breakfasts, lunches, dinners and roundtables. On the official lobbying register it declared almost none of that. He hosted Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds at a dinner with defence and industry executives. Reynolds logged a dinner with Flint. He did not log the companies in the room. Those firms have since taken large government contracts. This is not a rumour. It is in the documents.
He resigned from Flint in June 2026 to take the No.10 job. Flint said he had recused himself and would have no ongoing financial interest. The appointment still walked a man who had just been selling access through the black door.
This is the man running No.10. Not elected. Not accountable. Not in the shot.
You were shouting at the dummy.
Meet the hand.
Tesco has 20,000 employees on their basic £13ph
The majority of these claim income support.
That taxpayers money should be deducted from Tesco's annual pretax profit of £2.4 BILLION
We should NOT all be helping Tesco shareholders.
Same for ALL major low pay employers.
BURNHAM?
Palestine was never empty. The camera already knew that.
In 1896–97, the Lumière brothers sent Alexandre Promio to film the Holy Land under Ottoman rule. What he captured is among the earliest moving images of Palestine: Jaffa Port, the courtyard of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, Jerusalem’s railway station, sacred sites, and people in the streets.
Muslims. Christians. Jews. Walking the same gates, the same roads, the same land.
Not a slogan. Not a later map. Actual footage of a living country called Palestine — ports, churches, stations, markets, worshippers — before partition, before occupation, before the claim that this was a vacant stage waiting for someone else.
Watch the people, not the propaganda. Jaffa was a port. Bethlehem was a town. Jerusalem was a city of three faiths under one sky. That is the historical record, not a talking point.
Palestine had a name. Palestine had people. The film is still there.

In the spirit of unity, Ed Sheeran and Robert Kraft have announced they will be donating $2 million to organisations that distribute aid in Gaza. Those organisations are President Trump's Board of Peace and the IDF👀
Powerful and utterly upsetting.
Today in the Irish Examiner.
800 items NOT allowed into Gaza and it's only half the actual list.
4 standout for me:
- Toys
- Crutches
- Babies nappies
- Cancer medication
