Anyone else in/around Glasgow feeling totally detached from COP26? It feels like it’s happening TO Glasgow. It feels like we’re inconvenient annoyances who should stay out of the way for a fortnight. It’s very odd knowing the world’s eyes are on your city & you’re shut out of it.
I recently signed up to the MIT Sustainable Energy course on @edXOnline and I must say, it is pretty great. A great way of getting into energy economics and sustainable technology 👌
@ASleepyWanderer Laurence, you are incredible and super passionate about the things you love. I love following your account because you are an amazing scientist and artist! I can only leave you with a pic of my cat in hopes it cheers you up a bit :) there is always a bright future ahead

So it's my first time at #SIGGRAPH2020 and it's both pretty overhelming and awesome! I am exciting to watch NVIDIA's presentation about ray tracing with OptiX tomorrow @NVIDIADesign
