The includes Dr Ngozi Osadebe, the project leader, Dr Godson Asuoha, a senior lecturer and Biogeographer, and John Mba Onuoha, the Student Ambassador for Geography Department UNN.
As part of the program of activities for the Deforestation in Nigeria Project funded by the Wikimedia Foundation, USA, a team of Researchers and students led by the HOD Geography Dept., Prof Chidi Nzeadibe conducted an extensive fieldwork at Olioma Opi , Nsukka LGA Enugu state.
The location is a 99.2 hectares of deforested land which being proposed as site for an international market.
Many lessons were learned in documentation of Deforestation in Nigeria Project.

👩🏫 She teaches AP Human Geography in Nsukka, Nigeria and will attend the AGS Fall Symposium in NYC on Nov 16 & 17, 2023.
Their mission is to enhance geographic literacy for better public policy and human well-being.
