Ayn Rand's most important lesson: Production comes before distribution. You cannot divide a pie nobody baked.

Every politician inverts that order. They argue over who gets what slice, how to tax the baker, how to redistribute the flour, as if the loaf simply materialized like manna. Rand called this out for what it is. Wealth is created by specific people doing specific things: Hank Rearden smelting metal, John Galt building a motor. Take those people away and you're left with committees drafting memos about fairness while the lights go dark.

The entrepreneur is not a parasite skimming off labor. He directs scarce resources toward their most urgent uses, and he eats the loss when he guesses wrong. No bureaucrat carries that risk. This is what Ludwig von Mises spent his career proving in denser prose.

Rand's villains aren't cartoon capitalists. They're the moochers who demand the moral sanction of their victims: the industrialist who lobbies for a subsidy, the intellectual who calls envy "social justice." She hated the crony as much as the commissar.

Everyone knows that Biden had nothing to do with the social media posts that came from his accounts during his Presidency. Most people are unaware of who was running Obama's social media accounts while he was President.

After the 2012 election, Obama converted his campaign operation (money and data) into a nonprofit organization named OFA. Its stated mission was to support Obama and his agenda.

While he was President, OFA ran Obama's Twitter account (and other social media accounts). Because of the way it was set up, anyone could anonymously donate to OFA. Get this. If someone donated at least $500,000 to OFA during his Presidency, they were guaranteed 4 meetings a year with then President Obama. In other words, Obama was selling access to the White House. It stands to reason that people donating large amounts of money to OFA also had influence over the social media posts coming from his accounts. Again, anyone from anywhere in the world could anonymously donate to OFA and receive access to President Obama.

We are very fortunate to again have a President in office who posts his own thoughts.
