@Tesla HSMath teacher here from CT. Would love to test drive the Cyber Truck here in New England for you. See how it handles all the seasons. Provide you feedback and give you truck back when the test drive is over. I could use data for math lessons. #soyouresayingtheresachance

@korytellers @CovingtonAHS Theory is great in a vacuum. Should you know it, of course. But experience is everything. Seeing the theory in practice or it not work in practice is invaluable. Also, realizing that you are not teaching content but you are teaching students is something you can’t learn in class.
Help support local families this holiday season by donating to the R10 annual Toy Drive! Students can donate toys, gift cards, cash or checks (payable to LSM) to the main office of their school. Troop L will distribute the toys to over 30 agencies. The Toy Drive ends Dec. 19th.

We should all be concerned that countless students across the country are taking Algebra 2 even though they never mastered the skills in Algebra 1. It is no different than asking a kid to sprint when they haven’t learned how to walk.
@beaniemath @nikfarmath @Jupmiddle@MathSdpbc I use @msonenote, we are Microsoft district and it has really changed my classroom. Every activity, answers, videos I create are all housed here. No more losing worksheets, missing notes because I was absent, or my dog ate my HW
Please take a look at this list. This is what students want to learn. The challenge is how to weave this in while sticking to the curriculum. These skills have to be foundation to your activities, and be discussed and recapped the same as the content you cover. #theeedure#edchat
Memorization is not in the top ten skills needed in 2020.
