Btw, a 39 year old Lionel Messi ended up finishing 5th in the Ballon d’Or rankings, competing with the stars of today.
Not to forget his astonishing World Cup campaign.
Longetivity at its peak.
One of the hardest truths about life is that you can do everything right and still suffer because of someone else's carelessness.
You can drive carefully and still lose your life because someone else chose to drink and drive.
You can be sexually disciplined, remain faithful to your partner, and still end up treating an infection because the person you trusted decided to be reckless with your health.
You can raise your children with good values, only for someone else's child to introduce yours to drugs, crime, or a decision that changes their lives forever.
That is one of life's cruelest realities: your good decisions can reduce the risks you face, but they cannot eliminate the consequences of other people's bad decisions.
Sometimes, you suffer not because you did something wrong, but because someone else did.
And the most painful part? They may move on with their lives while you are left to live with the consequences of what they did.
I am unable to mentally handle the fact that I would be loved for what I can provide and spend on her.
I feel like I am paying to be loved. I feel like I have to bribe and convince a woman that I am the man that she should bill from now on
I feel like I am begging someone I am better than to accept me so I can spend my money on her.
It makes absolutely no sense that people living in South East Nigeria have to travel to Lagos or Abuja just to apply for visas or catch international flights to the US, Europe, or other parts of the world.
People should be able to apply for visas to any country in Enugu, at the very least, and fly directly from the South East to major international destinations, with a choice of airlines.
This is critical to regional development, economic growth, and reducing our dependence on other regions.
The South East governors must work together to make this happen. It is long overdue.
#Scorpios have an excellent memory, and combine with an inability to let things go, they can hold a grudge to someone who did them harm forever. #ScorpioFacts
Ask your Doctor, Doctor... Let me as a Doctor answer this ignorant Opeyemi Famakin.
1 The tribe with the highest number of CKD and Dialysis is not the Igbos.
According to most epidemiological studies, NorthEastern states like Borno, Yobe, Jigawa rank tops in Nigeria, perhaps another problem here might be Dialysis coverage from lack of abundant facilities.
Closely followed will be many of the Southwestern states like Ogun, Ekiti...
The predominant Igbo states don't rank tops for CKD and Dialysis.
2 Inasmuch as we are fighting against Fake drugs and Drinks... the top causes of CKD in Nigeria still remains conditions like High blood pressure, Diabetes , of course Nephrotoxic substances still play a huge role.
The discourse of kidney problems , fake drugs and products has no iota of ethnicity and tribalism perpetrating it.
It will be unfair to label any tribe as perpetrating and a sole cause of CKD in Nigeria.
This is a wrong narrative to peddle.
Let us fight the general fake drug narrative without throwing in ethnic and tribal undertones.
