Been a Dean for a number of years in my career and I couldn’t agree more. Sometimes you need to help the teacher and the other students to refocus and build back the learning environment.

Suspending a student for sure doesn't help the student who is out of school - but it does help the other 29 students to have a classroom where they learn. One student can ruin learning for others - we need to start thinking about the other students in the room.

@DePaulPrepMBB Tom, that was 81-82 season I was a senior in college and in my first year working for Jim Harrington/Mike Bailey. Sat on that bench & remember we were 1 charge/block call away from breaking their winning streak. I will not reveal that official that missed the call. Great memory
