Opencode with cloudflare and planetscale MCP is soo powerful. It just resolved a prod only bug by deploying test workers and reading cloudflare logs, all while I was making lunch.
Instead of a frustrating debug session just immediately continuing on with the fun stuff
@samlambert I still have their screensaver download service on a loopback otherwise it’ll download data untill my drive is full. Known issue for years, no fix yet
@acoyfellow@threepointone@riframen I’ve seen post about DO/Agent per resource and I never fully understood why you would want that. This made something click for me…
In my head a DO was always infrastructure that has to be deployed etc etc.
Now I see: it’s just stateful code
Zero uses URL pathname and domain, Textencoder/decoder, btoa/atob, Object.hasOwn, Promise.allSettled, and performance\.now
Crypto is also missing which I use for ulid ID generation. I wanted to make a native binding to iOS PRNG but I still struggle with loading those into the runtime. Same goes for storing a SQLite db for data persistence. The Lynx websocket module works with no issues!
The web version is a Nuxt project but I have not tried running it directly in Lynx yet, the entire UI wouldn’t work anyways. It uses e.g. teleport with NuxtUI.
All zero code is shared though! Composables, schema/query/mutator definitions, client etc.
Got @zero__ms running in @LynxJS_org with @vuejs (thanks to @Huxpro) on my iPhone. I always thought I had to reach for Swift or React Native if I wanted to release to mobile. Now I've got both my favourite framework and sync engine running in the palm of my hand!
And I'm not even talking about the fact that these circuits are also starting to be made of biodegradable materials. After implanting, they do their work for a while, and then are reabsorbed by the body! No extra operations needed!
Talking to professors at my university about what they're working on is just so cool. Today we discussed nerve stimulation through ultrasonic wave focussing. They've not yet achieved it, but they're nearing single neuron precision without ever needing to penetrate the nerve wall!
