@NERCNG @phedconnect has kept a whole transformer at State Housing, Calabar disconnected for 4 days because of a single bypass customer. Every honest, paying Band A customer is now in darkness. PHED is losing far more in revenue than that one defaulter ever cost. This makes no sense.

The reason given is that a single customer connected to that transformer was found on an illegal bypass. Each time PHED disconnects that individual, he reconnects himself, and PHED's response has been to punish every household on the transformer by leaving the whole line dead.

@PHEDconnect Day 4 of total blackout on my street in State Housing, Calabar. @phedconnect cut off an ENTIRE Band A transformer because ONE person is on an illegal bypass. So dozens of paying customers sit in darkness over one man's crime.
