Ciaran Byrne's fetch, unbelievable, but putting my ref hat on and genuinely asking other refs.....should have been blew up for too long for not putting his hand up for the "mark" ???
The annual mass escape from Dublin Castle, commemorating a real jailbreak in 1592 by Red Hugh O’Donnell & the O’Neill Brothers. Competitors will cover 62km through the night, across the mountains to Glenmalure Valley. That’s if they make it, unlike Art O’Neill. He died en route.
The art of coaching by Steve Kerr👇
🗣️”The urge is, you’re the coach and you want to control it. But, coaching isn’t controlling it, it’s guiding it… It’s not going to happen by you saying ‘you have to do this or you have to do that.’
Conor McManus applauds 'Special Score' in @clontibretclg's stunning comeback win in Belfast..

That’s absolutely filthy from Sam Prendergast. He’s played very well this evening exploiting space and reading the field. Great half of rugby put down for Jordan Larmour too. Bonus point for Leinster at the half
@CoachBechler Your posture, eyes, and reactions all tell a story long before your words or stats do.
Disappointment is natural - but body language reveals whether you’re rising above it or sinking below it.
— from H.A. Dorfman, “Coaching the Mental Game”
PLAYERS: Your body language conveys a message to your teammates and coaches. It can show others what kind of attitude, energy, toughness, focus, unselfishness, and maturity you possess. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬 ... 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬!
The crucial goal from @EmyvaleGAA’s Daniel McMahon in their JFC semi-final win over Scotstown!
His side remain unbeaten in 16 competitive games in 2025.
It’s game day and not just any game day. This is our very own El Clásico, as the senior team take on @AghabogGFC in what promises to be a thrilling encounter. The action gets underway at 5.30pm at Páirc Emmet, Aghabog and with this being the final round of the Universal Graphics group stages, every score and every tackle counts. So grab your jacket, pack the umbrella, and make sure you’re there to cheer and roar on the lads. Best of luck to the team and remember, as I always say: leave every ounce of energy out on the pitch!
No apologies for rabbiting on about coaching individual players….a scenario and a question:
An U14 player, much more often than not, aims an accurate kick for a point but his shot drops short. This happens from as little as 20m away from goal.
What things might you check?
Really like this
When there’s a true relationship between coach and player, a player will run through a wall for their coach

Clifford, unlike many forwards, uses the appropriate hand based on the defender's side. Here, he uses his non-dominant hand. It's subtle, but is the appropriate limb in that situation. Despite common perceptions, this is not a common ability at intercounty.
Why in this case two L kick passes , the quality L hand pass, and the point scored were all outside of the defender thus easier to execute and harder to defend, ( diagonal ball always a winner).
@PlayerGaelic How would a centre forward create space for a pass to the inside line.
Watch how 21 goes from the middle to leave space on D.
There’s also possibly but hard to see a movement from the scorer to leave that space to for the receiver to run into.
