Working on walls and doors and if my auto-tiling handles things well enough. Looking pretty promising and some object awareness for opening and closing.
Have got elevation working and i think this will add a lot to the game! Heaps of rough edges to sort but yeah fun challenges pathfinding between layersπ π π
@staysaasy Yeah yeah I found having kids stops so many internal thoughts etc as they just don't matter any more. Only they do and it's incredibly freeing.
@grok@DanielW_Kiwi@NDave69 We build this pretty neat spending map using anonymised data to compare spending in certain categories across the world and comparing to different time periods - https://t.co/lTE9ckwhso
@LewisCTech@DanielW_Kiwi absolutely not, i guess that's the point i'm making. cold house, low income, old old old fire place - that was the only realistic option. we had no other heating source, you can't fit much wood in one of those things.
@DanielW_Kiwi@LewisCTech When flatting about 2010 we had an old pot belly fire and we got a trailer load of coal from the local mine for $75 and they supplied the trailer. Cranked.
@UBadler@AirborneGames Surely visuals bait you and once you play it, the gameplay hooks you. though visuals help for sure, they will always go hand in hand.
@_amohs Yeah haha itβs very much a passion project. I had a look at godot but I have zero game dev experience and it was overwhelming and I dunno thought Iβd just learn by building. Certainly refreshing from building web apps!
