In our recent outreach we collaborated with @girlswithapurpose2023 to visit Tomondo secondary school in Morogoro rural area where we had a wonderful time with the students, parents and the teachers.

Gender Based Violence (GBV) casts a long shadow over many communities in Tanzania, particulary the rural areas. GBV impacts the whole society but women are children are the main victims.

The villagers were taught the consequences of GBV and how to reduce and possibly end GBV. In addition, they were provided with information on available support systems and reporting mechanisms, including a free hotline #116 to report GBV actions.
