If you attend a Power 4 mega camp and don’t leave with an offer, don’t get discouraged because another player did.

In many cases, that player was already being recruited before the camp, had built a relationship with the staff, or already held other Power 4 offers. Camps often serve as a final evaluation rather than a first introduction.

For many athletes, summer camps are simply an opportunity to get in front of coaches before official visits and the fall recruiting season begin.

Don’t get caught up chasing logos. Chase the opportunities that are actually in front of you. The right fit, the right staff, and the right opportunity will always be more valuable than a logo on a helmet.
