In the spirt of the theme of #ISTELive23, we invite you to discover what's next for Focusable at booth 904!
We have some BIG surprises and engaging gifts. :)
Who will come #getengaged with us next week?!
What kind of possibilities does automating reflection with AI open up in education? Here’s 6 we’re thinking about:
1 - Step changes in ability to explain thinking and work
2 - Radically improved student goal setting skills
3 - More intrinsically motivated learning than ever
4 - New levels of self awareness and self alignment
5 - Better mental health monitoring and support
6 - A future proof, flexible method of assessment (including help detecting cheating)
Excited to introduce Mirror, our innovative platform harnessing the power of reflection in classrooms through AI! Check out our founder's message below ⬇️
Exciting day! We are unveiling our newest project today. It’s taken several years of development, many trials and tribulations, and more than a little last-minute creative reinvention. Thanks to the whole @swivl team for getting us to the finish line.
📣 This is a BIG day! 📣
Today, We are proud to introduce Mirror - the solution to realize the potential and necessity of classroom reflection - using AI to get us there.

Announcing Mirror by @Swivl!
A platform aimed to realize the potential of reflection in classrooms through using AI.
What if kids reflected consistently without taking more teacher time? It's the automated and more friendly way to improve learning and assess learning.
Here's what I've been up to.
We've done the hard part - making the hardware. Mirror is available today to buy and use. Our launch campaign is designed to provide early access to all schools, and partner with educators to refine the experience.
@Scandela9@Brain_Balance@MayoClinic Your pod is total 🔥
Great conversations, I get sparked every episode. It makes me want to be accomplished at sketch notes so I could capture some take aways beautifully instead of in my messy brain.
🎙️ Such incredible things happening w/ the #Optimalist podcast that I have to start sharing early pics of these conversations. Spoke to the brilliant Dr. Rebecca Jackson the other day, author of Back on Track: A Practical Guide to Help Kids of All Ages Thrive.
Coming soon! 👀
🎙️I'm happy to introduce Sheila Carroll today!
Sheila is a board-certified pediatrician, an obesity medicine physician, and a certified life coach who helps us think about the impact of avoidant behaviors on our daily decisions.

"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."

The Curiosity issue of the #Optimalist is out tomorrow!
Hot take: curiosity is very hard to teach, but you need school to influence it.
Here's a sneak-peek at @smgaillard's conversation last week on The #Optimalist podcast. 🤩
