I am known as one of the biggest Google Pixel haters out there, and there is absolutely NO way you'd expect me to like one. Right?

Especially considering the fact that I switched from a "flagship" iPhone 17 I bought for €950 back in the day, to a mid range Pixel 10a, which I got for €270

Now stay with me. You might consider me a hypocrite, a weirdo, or think there is smt wrong with me. I don't care:

This is THE BEST experience I've EVER had on a smartphone.

I can't believe I'm saying this myself. Truly. It still sounds like nonsense.

It's smooth. It's light. It's polished. It's almost entirely bug and lag free (especially in comparison to what my iPhone 17 has been since the day I bought it).

This mid-range phone feels 97% like my iPhone. The build quality is crazy good. The haptics, the speakers (not incredible but good enough). THE SOFTWARE IS IMPECCABLE. Like, I passionately hated PixelUI for the past 5 years, and again, I was wrong.

Yes it has flaws. For example, it's not the fastest that thing out there, and applications don't open instantly like they do on my iPhone. But it's €270. I'm not going to complain lol. Cameras are fine, but not smt extraordinary etc etc

There is one HUGE and annoying bug they brought with Android 17 (which was not present in Android 16), but I'll talk about it in future posts.

Overall, I'm in love. I'm truly in love with this phone, and so far I am not planning to switch back to my iPhone 17, as I simply don't enjoy using it as much.

I'm BEGGING YOU, before you talk shit about Pixels, please, just use one first, and you'll either hate it entirely or absolutely love it. There is no in between. But most probably, you'll adore it.
