EFL teacher in primary education. ICT is an integral part of my teaching and I'm passionate about helping my students discover their talents and develop skills
@lohynova A7: We are free to choose the types of assessment, but quizes and tests are the most acceptable ones by parents. In my eTwinning projects, though, I prefer using questionnaires, rubrics and online games, like kahoot. I also try to use peer assessment.#twinmooc
@ivasil63 Those students are usually the ones I pick out. There are always some complaints, but they prefer it this way than having me setting up the groups.😁 #twinMOOC
@lohynova A5: Lack of confidence is the main reason stdents don't take initiative. So, I try to work with them in class to make sure they know what they have to do. #twinMOOC
@ivasil63 A4: Assessment is the biggest challenge for me. There are students who don't work or participate as hard as others. Lack of technology equipment at school is of course the biggest problem, especially when not all students have a pc or internet connection at home. #twinMOOC
@lohynova A3: I really like asking students to ctreate posters about themselves and upload then on Voicethread for their partners to leave comments about them. However, nothing compares to eTwinning live events! Students love meeting their partners online. #twinMOOC
A2. Definitely! There are so many web tools that allow students to work at their own pace, use their creativity and collaborate with the https://t.co/17qDpLIA46 fact in large classrooms, only technology can help teachers with differentiated instruction. #twinmooc
@lohynova No, I haven't, but I'm planning to start with involving my students' parents and when I'll feel more confident about it I may ask for an expert's or the local community's participation.
#Twinmooc#eTwinning280 eTwinning for me is the opportunity to be part of a great community of inspiring and creative colleagues, develop as a teacher and be reminded of the reasons why I went into teaching in the first place.
