Microplastics are everywhere - in water, food and our bodies. Why banning plastic isn't enough and how science proposes to neutralize this threat.
Are you ready to completely remove plastic from your life right now or you think that's impossible?
This is not Dubai.
This is Ethiopia, whose GDP is 24 times smaller than India’s.
However, its cooperation with China has made its infrastructure 24 times better than that of India and even some higher-income countries.
Nanoplastics have already been found in every organ of the human body. Studies show that they affect our health and the Earth’s climate. Why can’t this threat be tackled alone, and can the global community unite now to find a solution?

Nanoplastics and ocean warming dynamics.
In his presentation at the European Parliament, John Ahn discussed additional factors contributing to ocean warming, including the potential role of micro- and nanoplastics.
He explained that plastic particles may affect heat exchange in the ocean, limiting heat release rather than generating it, while recent observations show warming occurring even in deep ocean layers.
He also highlighted research suggesting that geodynamic activity, including seismic and volcanic processes, may contribute to ocean heating and interact with environmental factors.
He emphasized that the combination of these processes may influence climate dynamics and increase the frequency and intensity of natural disasters.

Nanoplastics and human body exposure.
In his presentation at the European Parliament, John Ahn explained that micro- and nanoplastics are present in food, water, and air, continuously entering the human body through ingestion, inhalation, and skin contact.
He noted that these particles have been detected in multiple organs, including the brain, liver, kidneys, placenta, and breast milk, and may accumulate in tissues, potentially affecting normal biological functions.
He emphasized that micro- and nanoplastics represent a complex health concern involving both physical particles and associated chemical compounds.

Ethiopian 🇪🇹 airlines MRO has won contracts from Saudi Arabia and South Africa 🇿🇦 to be doing the maintenance and repairs of their aircraft.
No Chinese, American, European or Russian engineers are involved in this department. It's purely run by Ethiopian engineers bred and trained from Ethiopian Aviation University.
Ethiopians are putting their differences aside and putting Ethiopia first. When people are united by vision, nothing seems impossible. (Akech Andrew)
A plastic bottle does not disappear without a trace. It transforms into micro and nanoplastics. Research shows how plastic particles become part of natural processes. What does this mean for our health and the future of ecosystems?

As the COP32 host country, Ethiopia has embarked on early preparations through the formal establishment of the National Steering Committee. We have brought together key leadership to guide this process with clarity and purpose. The Presidency has already commenced its initial tasks, laying the foundation for what must be a coordinated and ambitious effort.
Today, I convened the National Steering Committee across sectors to assess progress made so far, identify gaps, and ensure that all efforts remain aligned with our national vision. This platform serves not only as a space for review, but also for collective direction-setting. Our focus is clear: to move forward cohesively, with strong coordination, unified ambition, and a shared commitment to excellence in hosting this global program.
This album is a blow to all who tried to divide Ethiopians along ethnic & religious lines. It stands for unity, pride, & strength. The rise of Ethiopia cannot be reversed or sabotaged, & Africa will rise with it.
Cheers 🥂 to Teddy the voice of Ethiopia ❤️

SHOCKING: 100’s of thousands of Ethiopian Christians gather in an unapologetic explosion of faith.
While the godless West dies in atheism, Ethiopia rises as an UNSTOPPABLE force for Christianity.
